Upgrading to Blackboard Learn

Ulster's Virtual Learning Environment, WebCT, provides staff and students with access to a range of online educational and administrative tools that support teaching and learning. It is being upgraded from Blackboard Vista 8 (commonly referred to as WebCT) to

Blackboard Learn 9.1

, which is the natural upgrade path.

The switchover is planned for

September 2011

, with all courses being taught in Blackboard Learn from September onwards.

Technology Facilitated Learning will manage the planned upgrade. We aim to keep you fully informed throughout the process via this Blackboard Learn Information Point, so that you are aware of how it will impact on your teaching and learning practice. We will update this website regularly during the transition process, so please bookmark it and keep checking back for new information.
