ShareStream - Issue with Relay recordings

New  Techsmith Relay Recordings

Staff submitting Techsmith Relay recordings are being prompted to enter 'account information for the publish destination''. This is due to a technical issues with ShareStream. The problem is currently being investigated.

New  Alert to everyone marking Turnitin assignments

We have seen a number of accidental assignment deletions recently, with the loss of associated student submissions.  This is due to the close proximity of the Turnitin Sync Grade and Delete Assignment links.

As this is a busy marking period, staff are asked to take particular care when accessing Turnitin Submissions or using Turnitin's Sync Grades option.

Turnitin acknowledge that there is an issue with the placement of these links and it will be addressed in an update to Turnitin’s building block for Blackboard Learn.  Deleted Turnitin assignments can be retrieved, but only by Turnitin UK themselves after a support ticket is submitted by the Office for Digital Learning.  The Easter break closure means that process would be delayed until the University reopens on 4 April.

Updated  ShareStream Video Tools

An introduction to ShareStream and instructions for using the ShareStream Pick-n-Play and Mash-up tool are available on our  ShareStream Video Tools  page
