New Service Status
Updated Assignment submissions to Turnitin
A number of students have reported issues when attempting to submit assignments to Turnitin through Blackboard. The problem is specific to the version of Internet Explorer installed in student labs and LRCs. While this issue is being investigated students are advised to upload assignments through Google Chrome, the alternative web browser available on computers in the LRC and student labs
Updated Java Security Levels
Following the recent update of Blackboard Learn, users will need to add an additional Site Exception to their Java Site Exception list. The Java Security Levels support page has been updated to reflect this.
New New Blackboard Learn Features
The recent update to Blackboard Learn has added several new features. Our Using Date Management, Using Student Preview, Delegated Grading and Portfolio Homepage support pages outline these new features.

Blackboard Learn Knowledge Base
This is the home of the Blackboard Learn Support wiki space. It is a support area detailing common Blackboard issues and solutions, as well as guides to help staff and students get the most from Blackboard. All current topics are listed in the panel on the left hand side of the screen. The main wiki sections are also linked to at the top of the screen.

4. Staff should use the Module Access Request system to request access to a module, migrate content between modules or request a Support Area.
5. It is important that new and returning students sucessfully complete their Online Enrolment, only registered students (status RE) will gain access to University Ulster systems (Blackboard Learn, Portal, e-mail).
